2.1 Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category includes IP addresses, browser type, operating system, provider domain name, URI addresses of requested resources, request time, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server response, and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computing environment.

These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on website usage and to monitor its correct operation. Data are deleted after statistical processing.

2.2 Data voluntarily provided by the user

The website does not include contact forms. Users may contact Meat S.r.l. exclusively via the e-mail address published on the website. Personal data entered in an e-mail message, including name, surname, e-mail address, and any other information voluntarily provided, are collected and processed by the Controller to respond to the request.

These cookies are activated only upon user consent. The website uses Matomo, formerly Piwik, an open-source web analytics platform installed in self-hosted mode on the same server as the website. No data is transmitted to third-party servers.

6. Disclosure and Dissemination of Data

• Keliweb S.r.l.: hosting provider, acting as Data Processor Art. 28 GDPR, limited to the technical navigation data necessary for the provision of hosting services.


• Google LLC: limited to Google Maps cookies, activated only upon consent. Google LLC may transfer data to the USA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.


• Competent authorities: where required by law or by an authority order.

7. Data Transfers Outside the EU

Navigation data and Matomo data are processed exclusively on servers located in Italy/EU Keliweb. Data processed by Google Maps may be transferred to the United States of America. Google LLC adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of protection pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR.

8. Retention Period

• Navigation data server logs: maximum 12 months, then deleted or anonymised.


• PHPSESSID cookie: duration of the browsing session.


• CookieScriptConsent cookie: 1 month.


• Matomo _pk_id cookie: 13 months.


• Matomo _pk_ses cookie: 30 minutes.


• Google Maps cookies: up to 20 years according to Google's policies.


• Received e-mails: retained for the time necessary to handle the request and in any event no longer than 24 months, unless required by law.

9. Data Subject Rights

Pursuant to Arts. 15–22 GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

• Access Art. 15: obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of the data.


• Rectification Art. 16: request correction of inaccurate data.
